Here is a hard-to-find item,
a modern mouthpiece for those old C-Melody saxophones.

The C-Melodies are having a revival of interest,
but it is hard to find a mouthpiece for them.

The original (“vintage”) C-melody mouthpieces
are proving unsatisfactory to most modern players,
having a weak, reedy tone, with insufficient projection
for any but a fairly small acoustic space.

This mouthpiece is designed using modern science
to eliminate those problems,
and delivers a full, rich tone with good projection.

The rubber mouthpiece I sell for C-melody sax
is the ONLY mouthpiece for c melody
I know of on the national market
that is better than this plastic mouthpiece.

Babbitt is a well-known and trusted manufacturer
of quality mouthpieces and other castings.

This mouthpiece has a tip opening of .068".
