Our feathers are hand packaged and sorted for quality, unbroken feathers.
There is one color per7 gram (approx 1/4 oz) bag.
Feather lengths in each bag typically range in size somewhere between 3-8"
Sold by weight, an average 7gram bag contains approx. 35 feathers per bag.
The count will vary some from bag to bag, depending on feather sizes.
You will receive a random mix of feather lengths & types.
Some feathers may have flat or partially flat tips, but the majority will be all fluffy marabou.
These are professionally sanitized and dyed domestic turkey feathers.

Sellers Notes: These feathers are bleached and then dyed. The processing creates some loose fluff, which although we try, is impossible to eliminate from the packaging. Please expect to have some loose fluff feather particals in each bag. Dyes used are not 100% colorfast and may bleed if wet. See handling suggestions at bottom of this description.
Each color lot is photographed using flash photography under a tru-color optic light, and our pictures are then edited & posted from a computer using a color calibrated monitor. They look true to color when we post them. However, because different models of computer monitors & devices do vary on how they display color, and we have NO control over the display, brightness and contrast settings on everyone's computers, the feathers you receive may be a slightly different color shade than what you view on your home computer. We do our very best to accurately portray them and color tone variance is NOT valid grounds for leaving us bad feedback, opening a dispute or blasting our seller ratings.

Because of the intense bleach & dye & drying processes these feathers go through, it creates loose feather fluff.
We do not intentionally package it up, it just tends to stick to the feathers.
For that reason, we recommend:
1) NOT dumping the entire bag out as this will be messy
2) Working in an area that is easily cleanable and away from fans or breezes.
3) Taking the feathers out of the bag one or two at a time and giving them a gentle shake while still in the bag. This will help minimize any mess & most fluff and dander (natural feather shaft shedding) will remain in the bag.
