The Vivitar 200mm f/3.5 Auto Telephoto was a fixed mount lens distributed by Vivitar. This lens is believed to have been manufactured by Komine. It is a member of the Vivitar lens family known as the Wolf fixed-mount family by collectors, so called because of the family's extensive documentation in the book, The Vivitar Guide, by John C. Wolf. The Wolf guide has this to say about the 200mm lens:

A lightweight longer telephoto, the 200mm is a prime sports or nature lens. It is also suited to dramatic portraits, since it can cover a person's face from about 10 feet away.

The lens was sold as early as April, 1976 and was still in production when the Wolf book was published in 1980.
