Up for auction is a pair of center caps (2) for just about any 5-lug BBS RS 16" or 17" or 18" wheel, such as the RS005 or RS006.  Imported from Germany, these are just like the original aluminum and plastic caps, except they are cut from billet aluminum and then polished to a mirror shine.  These will not fail like the original ones and they work with the standard BBS hex wrench.  These are what might be considered "Half Height" caps, as the are 15 mm tall. 

Here are the details:

• Outside Diameter = 100 mm
• Thread Diameter = 70 mm
• Height of hex = 15 mm
• Fits all BBS RS Center Emblems with a diameter of 70.6 mm and a three prong backing (Silver or Gold available for $20 each with free shipping if ordered at the same time).  We have found that the Japanese-made red and gold BBS caps do not properly secure into these hex caps.  You will need to modify the chip mounting tabs or the inner bore of the hex cap to fit the red BBS chips.

Sold in pairs.  This means you are agreeing to purchase 2 of these aluminum caps.  If you want 4, select Quantity = 2.

I have found that if you install full height caps in the rear and half height in the front, the look is quite nice.  Another option is to use the half height in the rear and my quarter height versions (8mm tall) in the front.  This is especially nice if you have staggered wheels.
