IRELAND 1970 Fifty Pence coin. The first 50p coin issued for Ireland after the change to decimal coinage. The reverse depicts a Woodcock in flight and the obverse shows the famous Irish Harp design. The coin is struck in cupro-nickel and is 30mm in diameter. KM.24.
The coin is housed within a display that is held in a slide open protection case, sized 64mm x 64mm. The display and case are in New/Mint condition and the coin is in UNC (Uncirculated) condition.
Our manufacturing process includes a precision laser cutting method to create the necessary holes in each display for the required coins to be inserted and held, safely recessed, in the correct position.
This is a fantastic coin that would make a great gift for a coin collector.
The coin can be removed from the protection case if so desired.
