AudioQuest designed their VDM-X coaxial RF cable with three goals in mind: low distortion, low loss, and wide bandwidth. It features a solid 24-gauge copper center conductor with silver plating to improve high frequency performance. Foil wrap around the insulation and an additional layer of silver-plated braid shield the cable from external electronic interference that can degrade the signal.
