This is a factory folded vintage original 1984 HUNGER DOGS promotional poster, which features artwork by JACK KIRBY. According to some online sources, the Jack Kirby Hunger Dogs series is related to Kirby's "New Gods" and "Fourth World" storylines. This scarce poster was designed to promote the DC Hunger Dogs graphic novel (GN), and it shows Justice League of America (JLA) super-villain characters like Darkseid. This listing is for the promo poster only, of course.
SIZE AND CONDITION: This 1980's Hungerdogs and Darkseid promo poster is in UNDISPLAYED VERY FINE/NEAR MINT CONDITION (it has some tanning on the back side and the name of the poster written in light pen on the back side). This promo poster was NEVER FOR SALE TO THE PUBLIC, very few were ever made, most have been lost or destroyed by now, and it measures about 22 inches by 17 inches. This promo poster is FOLDED, which is how it was originally distributed to comic book shop store owners. This is 100 percent normal for promotional posters.
