This is a brand new multi-fit external pillar aerial that is located on the outside of the windscreen pillar, 'A' post or quarter panel on many 1950's, 1960's, 1970's classic cars and vans. This type of aerial antenna was often fitted to cars when car radios were first fitted, before roof or telescopic wing aerials became more standard. It can be fitted to both left and right hand drive vehicles, by simply unscrewing the bottom fitting, and re-locating the offset bracket. It should be suitable for many classic cars including:

…and many others.

The mast is three-section stainless steel with a fully extended length of 1.2 metres (47 inches), for optimum radio reception.

The fitting is universal as the upper mounting point is adjustable along the bottom 45 cm telescopic section.

Please compare the photo to the existing aerial fitted as we do two external pillar aerials, this one, which has an offset fitting where the fittings are offset to one side by about 33 mm (1.25 inches), and our other listing where the screw mountings are directly behind the aerial mast.

The aerial is supplied complete a separate 120 cm coax cable (48 inches) fitted with a conventional aerial jack plug and all required fixtures and fittings including sealing gasket, but it is normally possible to fit the the external fittings to the existing cable to avoid relaying the coax cable back to the radio.

We do a wide range of replacement telescopes/masts and complete aerial for most European, Japanese and American cars. If your model is not covered in this, or our other listings, please e-mail us at enigma57@gmail.com  with full details of vehicle model, age and aerial make etc.

If paid by PayPal despatch is normally the same day, or following day depending on the time your payment is confirmed.
