Woodbury Pewterers Modern Reproduction of Colonial Style Open Sugar

This is a very nice piece of pewter from the Woodbury Pewterers of Woodbury, CT (1952 to the present day).  This piece is most probably produced in the late 1960's through the 1970's.  This is a part of a line of a popular line of reproductions of colonial-era pewter pieces made by Woodbury.  shape features a center belly and simple applied handles.  This is a classic spun pewter sugar bowl that was apparently not designed to have a lid.  It measures about 2-3/4 inches tall and about 3 inches in diameter at the lip.  This piece is in very good used condition with no damage or dents and but has some surface scratching consistent with the age of the piece.  With some simple polishing, this piece could look like new.  By our custom, we always leave such tasks to the buyer.  This wonderful vintage pewter lot is offered with a very reasonable minimum bid.
