ANTIQUE ENGLISH GOLD AGATE SWAN & SNAKE FOB ELIZA SEAL CHARM c1800  

An antique English, solid 15 carat gold (tests thereabouts) fob, finely modelled as a swan with a coiled snake in its beak, the base set with an agate seal, engraved 'Eliza'. 
A very attractive example - wearable and very collectable!

CONDITION: All original and very, very good. Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Crack to swan's neck, perfectly secure and in no danger, easily improved if desired.

DATE/MARKS: Around 1780/1800. Not marked.

DIMENSIONS: 21 mm tall, base 14 x 12 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.

WEIGHT: Approx. 3.5 grams.
