The Washburn Forrest Lee Bender brings country licks to the acoustic world. With almost no aesthetic alterations to the guitar at all, players can pick and bend their riffs in style.

The Acoustic Bender is a dreadnought body shape with rosewood back and sides, and includes a Fishman® pickup. The top is solid cedar, and includes an abalone rosette, purfling and a back strip, making the body of this guitar quite striking. The neck is made from mahog. and has a rosewood fingerboard, and the fretboard on the WDFLB28SCE features an exquisite tree of life inlay. The nut and saddle are both made of Graphtech NuBone®, and the bridge is made from mahogany.

The bender itself is mostly inside the guitar. The only signs of it being there are a slot for the strap holder to move and the pin which takes the place of the B-string pin. The mechanism allows the player to bend the B-string up a full step with a simple push down on the neck. This allows the player to simulate pedal steel type bends. Benders have been available on electric guitars since 1968, but the Washburn Forrest Lee Bender marks the first time this type of device is available in a full production acoustic guitar.

Return Policy

You may return any item* that you buy from Butler Music for a refund of your purchase price within 14 days of receiving them or 21 days from the date of payment (whichever is longer). Customer is responsible for shipping charges both ways. We want all buyers to be happy and all buyers to get a great deal. We sell everything at a very small profit so we cannot afford to refund shipping costs on returned items. If you receive an item that is defective please contact us so that we may rectify the issue.

*Wind instruments such as harmonicas cannot be returned to Butler Music and must be returned directly to the manufacturer for repair or replacement if defective. Shipping Policy

All items ship within one business day of payment. Shipments are processed Monday through Friday. Any payments received after 2pm Central Standard Time Friday will ship the following business day, Monday. We do not ship , answer emails, or take phone calls on Saturdays, Sundays or any postal Holidays. Some items may also be able to be picked up locally, please contact us ahead of time to set up a pickup. Please do not provide a PO Box as your shipping address when choosing UPS Ground. Only USPS can deliver to a PO Box.

Orders out of the US are shipped Priority Mail International. Customs duties , VAT's, brokerage fees, and taxes are NOT part of the quoted shipping cost and are to be paid by the customer when the package is delivered (unless the customer is purchasing the item through the eBay Global Shipping Program which DOES quote import duties).
