 Maroon Silk Gown.

Gorgeous red carpet fitted gown features an asymmetric/avante-garde/angled bias cut,

cut-out bodice, left leg front high cut slit,

 deep V back, angled invisible back right side zipper closure, and a long attached right shoulder swag/scarf/wrap that can be left trailing or thrown over an arm or shoulders.

Rich and lightweight silk jacquard fabric is unlined except for front and back bodice areas which have a silk charmeuse interfacing in matching maroon/burgundy.

Measurements are close approximates with some leeway due to the angled bias cut;

which lends some slight stretch.

Bust: approx. 33”

Waist: 26”

Hips: 34”

Shoulder to hem length: 62”

Leg slit measures 24”

Scarf/Swag measures 66” in length at longest point; and 20” at widest point. (trapezoid shape of scarf)

Very Good to Excellent Condition.

Dress is gently pre-owned, with a few thread pulls and a slight bit of fabric abrasion noted on the left side hip area. (likely an evening bag chafing)

Virtually undetectable, except under close scrutiny.

No stains, odors, tears, rips, or other flaws detected.

I take special care to accurately describe & photo document any flaws I find, but please keep in mind that vintage & previously owned items have been worn and enjoyed in a previous life, and may have slight imperfections & normal wear!

MEASUREMENTS  are taken on the garment exterior, lying flat and doubled.  You need to allow 1-2” for the garment to fit properly.

Color hues can vary on individual computer monitors. I strive to represent the true color, but there may be slight discrepancies.
