EnGenius ENS200EXT is a high-performance, cost-effective 802.11n 2.4GHz Wireless
Outdoor Access Point (AP), Client Bridge (CB and CPE) with data speeds up to
150Mbps. It features up to 400mW (26dBm) transmit power for longer
range building-to-building wireless bridge connections, for Wireless ISP
deployments as a CPE (Customer Premise Equipment), or
creating your own Hot-Spot
Access Point (AP) solution. The External 5dBi Omni-directional antenna provides
signal in a 360° pattern maximizing the ability to
transmit and receive from
almost any location up to 1.5 miles (2.4 Km) (distance covered is line-of-sight
with directional antennas and assumes proper installation and no obstructions
and flat terrain in between sending and receiving sites). With a
built-in
secondary LAN port (RJ-45), you can attach an IP Camera to create an outdoor

This versatile unit can be used
in a retirement home community or an RV park; or for users in RV parks,
campgrounds and marinas to access an available public Wi-Fi hotspot.
Advanced features include power level control, narrow bandwidth
selection, traffic shaping, and real-time high output power and sensitivity to
extend range and coverage to reduce the roaming between Access Points and to
deliver a more stable wireless connection. It also reduces deployment expenses
on the equipment. It supports distance control and the RSSI indicator, which enables configuration to
receive the best signals for superior wireless performance (distance
covered is line-of-sight with directional antennas and assumes proper
installation and no obstructions and flat terrain in between sending and
receiving sites). This outdoor device comes with a
proprietary
PoE injector (24V) for easy outdoor deployment (cable distance from the inside
of your building to the device's outside installation - up to 300 feet or 90
meters) and the Power Adapter accepts
100-240VAC input which allows it to work anywhere in the world. To
use it outside of North America all you will need is a plug adapter that allows
you to plug a standard USA type plug into your country's electrical mains. The
ENS200EXT is housed in an IP65 weatherproof enclosure to
protect against rain and moisture. The ENS200EXT offers a cost-effective
solution for a Hotspot to create Point-to-Point, Point-to-Multipoint, CPE and
Outdoor IP Security Camera system solutions. The ENS200EXT also includes
a robust set of security features including 64/128/152-bit
WEP data encryption, WPA/WPA2 Personal and Enterprise encryption, 802.1x RADIUS
authentication, hidden SSID and MAC address filtering. The unit
includes a protected Ethernet connection to
prevent water damage outdoors.
You can set-up your own high-speed wireless hotspot
anywhere today. You can
mount the device on a
pole or a mast with the supplied
mounting hardware. You just need to
connect the access point to
a DSL/Cable modem, router or switch to
access the internet.
In the client bridge mode,
you can connect it directly to your computer or a
router (to distribute the Internet signal to your LAN. Standard
CAT-5 or CAT-6 8-conductor Ethernet cable is required (which should not exceed 300 feet or 90
meters) is not included. A
