State of the art CCTV recorder with all the bells and whistles, there is very little that you could want from an NVR unit that this cannot do.

With the added ability over previous models to remote view on almost any internet compatible device you need never be unable to see your store or home.

Additionally the high video capture rate gives high resolution images that are of high enough quality to be submitted in a court of law, tell the judge if the criminal’s eyes are blue, green or brown, the pictures from this recorder are that good, the recorded images can easily exceed Full HD 1920x1080P, (2MP images) and will record 4K also without difficulty, (4K is 8MP image size).

To back up data or submit evidence you can save data to a USB stick inserted in the recorder, or if you are away from site you can backup directly to a PC thanks to a network connector on the rear of the unit, this can be performed on the local network or over the internet if required – once on your computer the footage can be shared on social media or saved to a USB stick or DVD from the PC directly for archive or for law enforcement / police as evidence.  

This is a very flexible unit that should last for many years, add up to 1 x 6TB of internal storage in the form of a SATA HDD drive for massive on board data storage capacity.

Full HD true 1080p IP network NVR recorder, this is not an upscaled image, nor is it edited by software, a fantastic image quality is the result at massive resolution of up to 8MP, whilst a small file size is maintained by h.264 video compression or mjpeg if you prefer. 

Please note: 4K monitor required for images in excess of 2MP native resolution, higher resolution cameras will be scaled down to match the display on the screen, but will record at set image size, for example 5MP images will display at 1920x1080P on a HD monitor, but will record at 5MP size, digital zoom in to see the full resolution on playback or live stream, the picture is that good Full HD doesn’t do it justice.

You can use ONVIF cameras with this recorder, some networking knowledge will be required to add these however as the plug and play protocols are brand specific, in this case Samsung only.

No prior network know how is required to use this unit to its full potential with Samsung cameras, Plug in and finish if using Samsung cameras, I can recommend the Samsung Lite Range L6083 series as a good all round camera.

A POE switch is not required to power the cameras as this unit has built in POE for network cameras, this recorder also boasts POE+, this outputs twice the power of a standard POE device so will now be able to run most PTZ cameras also, so no more 24V AC supply issues to worry about as a rule, (please check your camera specification before purchase).
