Wasn't sure if it was brand new or pre-owned because of how it looked and performed. Wheels are very clean as is the undercarriage, suggesting little if any track time. The shell can't be faulted anywhere.
This is a very clean piece that runs like a Kato (because it is a Kato) and is surely worth a look.

As with all engines before leaving my shipping table, it was run both forward and backwards around my test track at various speeds and it runs very strongly with the directional lighting and illuminated number boards working.
