- The Ribtec must be worn high up under the arms to give maximum protection.
- When seated, the top of the belt has to show above the top edge of the seat to be at its most effective.
- When fitting make sure that there is a gap at the front of about 10 to 15cm. (See diagram across.) If the belt is too big and no gap exists the level of protection afforded will be reduced. For maximum comfort, wear over a tee-shirt but underneath a races
- Between each race keep the belt flat or wrapped around a crash helmet. Curling the belt up in a tight roll, or creasing it in half could leave it permanently damaged.
- The Velcro strap should be cut down to size when the wearer is happy with the required length. Chest measurements should be taken with a measuring tape pulled tight at the height of the red line on the diagram opposite.
- Women should measure directly under the bust line.
- The original Ribtec is available in 7 Sizes; C, XS, S, MS, ML, L, and XL. To find your size please refer to the chart below. Chest measurements should be taken with a measuring tape pulled tight just under the arms.

We aim to ship everything same day but at maximum it is within 24 working hours (Mon-Fri).
UK orders have estimated delivery time on each item, these are generally accurate but please be aware Royal Mail is only 90% on time, the other 9% is a day late, and 1% 2-3 days late. We always offer the option for UPS courier on all parcels, which is guaranteed next day to mainland United Kingdom (exc. N. Ireland) and fully traceable to your door. You will get an email from UPS containing information on your parcel, plus the tracking number will be updated to ebay, so you can track it via ups.com. Unless UPS courier is selected we cannot guarantee delivery time, please never rely on Royal Mail for urgent orders. With UPS courier to a residential address they will try to deliver 1. at your address (between 7am and 7pm) and 2. at a collection point which to 95% of the country is 1/2 mile from your address. With UPS courier to a business address they will attempt to delivery once a day for three days before it's returned (9am - 5:30pm). Currently UPS do not offer a timed delivery slot.
We use a range of courier services for international services including Royal Mail for smaller items or UPS/TNT for larger/expensive items. Please note international shipping via Royal Mail can take up to 4 weeks but is usually just 1. Courier is 2-5 days depending on where you are. Non mainland parcels including Northern Island, Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands & Islands incur a surcharge for anything that cannot go Royal Mail.
