Presented here is a rare vintage 1940-50 Marionette. This is handsome fellow is I believe Price Charming. He wears a blue satin suit with yellow-gold trim, a crown pendant on his chest and gold buttons down the front of the jacket. He is 15" tall overall, the head, lower arms and feet are a hard plastic Tenite, the body is soft and movable with blocks inside, the lower legs are wood. He has the original black strings that extend about 12" above the top of the puppet. Red painted wood airplane control with two pieces, one string opens and closes the mouth/ jaw, in working order. He has curly dark hair and painted features. Excellent vintage condition, clean, looks never used; there is a slight opening in lower side neck seam, I believe this is in the manufacturing (see photos), looks like a piece of yellow cord is missing from one shoulder trim. He is fabulous and hard to find! (Does not come with the stand, I used this so you can see the strings extended in the photos, the listing is for the Marionette only with strings and control).
