The DarbeeVision DVP-5000S HDMI Video Enhancer is the successor to the acclaimed DVP-5000 "Darblet".
While similar to its predecessor the DVP-5000S has a leaner and more aesthetically pleasing design, and also adds some new capabilities.
Darbee Visual Presence technology, the powerful human-vision-based model for digital image enhancement, remains at the core, but now features some subtle improvements to the algorithm.
As always, you can expect improved perceived depth and realism of images. The processing remains is super fast, thus eliminating the lip-sync issues that are inherent with many video processors. Processing is performed intra-frame so that there is no time delay, making the DVP-5000S great for videos and movies, but it also means that the unlike slower processors, it can also be used to enhance video games, where lag simply isn't acceptable!
Some have commented that the effect is so significant that it rivals the realism of 4K Ultra HD displays using existing 1080p source material and displays. And since most video content in the world is not UHD, that still makes a great case for the DVP-5000S, even with UHD displays. The DVP-5000S can visibly enhance virtually any resolution up to 1080p. For a few lower value items that weigh under 4 pounds, we also offer First Class Mail International. This is an economy shipping service with no specific delivery commitment. It comes with a tracking number, but the tracking is poor, and if the package gets lost, it cannot be traced.
We insure all international shipments, but you should be aware that the insurance company requires a 45 to 60-day waiting period before a claim can be filed, and tracking information can be comforting when packages do not arrive within the expected timeframe.

Defective Product Replacement Warranty

If a defect is discovered within the warranty period, DarbeeVision will, at its option, repair or replace the product at no charge to you. All shipping costs for replacing the defective product will be covered by DarbeeVision, unless, upon receipt of the product, DarbeeVision discovers no defect. In that case, you will be responsible for covering all shipping costs. This warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged by accident, abuse, misuse, or misapplication, or if the product has been modified without the written permission of DarbeeVision.
DarbeeVision products are intended for personal use only. These products may not be used to process video for commercial purposes without the express written consent of DarbeeVision. There are no user-serviceable parts inside, and opening the product voids the warranty.
