A fellow eBayer sent the following comment when I had this described as a pre-unit

Hi, you might want to change the heading to 'Unit' rather than 'pre-unit', as the T100SS was a unit motor, and the barrel clearly shows the cutaway at the right rear for the distributor which was only fitted to the unit motors. Plus, pre-unit were only 63mm standard bore as opposed to 70mm for the unit. Hope that helps, cheers,
