Neat kit of the German Sd kfz 124 Wespe. Convered from old Panzer II chassis, the Germans needed artillery that could keep pace with the Panzer Divisions across the vast plains of Russia. Mounting the 105mm Howitzer, Wepses first saw action in operation Citadel near Kursk in 1943. Wespes also saw service in Italy and North West Europe.
