They range in date from the late 1800s-middle 1900s and all are in used condition requiring some cleaning. The geometric mihrab and overall figured dark blue field is framed by multiple borders and the palette includes brick red with soft celery green, tangerine, rose and white. This carpet is a jewel well worth the time or cost to restore. This wool pile on wool foundation rug dates from the late 1800s and measures 60” x 38”. It has medium fine weave and shows end dramatic loss and wear with a long split along the warp on one end. There is some typical edge wear as seen in the pictures.
