This is a listing for a vintage 1950s RIDE EM' COWBOY wind up toy made in Japan by Modern Toy. This great piece comes with the original box and is Patent #15036. The Horse and rider are both in overall good condition, showing some signs of age and storage wear. This includes some wear to the horse hide with hairs shedding off in several spots. There is NO winding key included with this horse, but I have tested it with one that I have and it still winds and does work. The mechanism does however stick a little bit at times, so it might need a little TLC or some lubrication to really get going. Original box measures 3 1/4" Wide X 5 1/2" Long X 2 1/4" Deep It is also still in good / very good condition showing some small signs of age and storage wear. This includes some minor dirt marks and edge wear. Still shows nice artwork on all sides of box top. ,, B1S 1 , ......................
