Tetrapanax papyrifera Steroidal Giant

Up for sale are seeds of Tetrapanax papyrifera Steroidal Giant.  This is a tropical looking, but very cold hardy plant from Asia that is very exotic with it’s large tropical looking palmate foliage, that resembles that of Castor Bean foliage – Ricinus communis.  These plants also get clusters of small white flowers, but the foliage is the best asset.  They are stem hardy to around USDA zone 7, and they are root heardy and vigorus in my zone 6 garden and there are reports of them surviving in zone 4.  These plants would make excellent additions to your rare plant collection, or just make a unique statement in your yard.
