How does the "Exchange" work?

First, we send you a rebuilt ECU from our stock. Once you receive our ECU, you send us back your damaged ECU core.

We collect a " Refundable Core Charge in the Shipping Charges " with all exchanges to ensure that the exchange is completed. When we receive your ECU core at our office, we refund the core charge immediately.

ECU cores must be returned within 7 business days of the delivered date in order to receive a refund of the core deposit. You may be subject to additional charges in addition to a cancelled warranty, if you do not return your old ECU core. For your convenience, we include a prepaid UPS Return Label in the box.

ECUs returned in a non-rebuildable condition such as water damaged, fire damaged or manipulated ECUs may receive a partial refund or no refund at all.

**For International shipments ONLY- There is an additional $100 Core included in the shipping charges which count towards the core charge deposit. Once we receive the ECU core back, you will be refunded the original core charge plus the additional $100.  International customers will have to make their own shipping arrangements to return the core.

Once a core is received because of an Exchange they are rebuilt and they become part of our stock.

We started working with ECUs a little over 9 years ago because we believe that car owners should have another option besides going to a very expensive dealership. We also love talking to our customers, whether it's for 5 minutes or an hour, we'll be on the phone with you until with find a solution to your car's problems.

Our offices are located at 941 NE 48th St, Oakland Park, Florida 33334 and we are open Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 5pm.

UPS is our preferred, and only, mail carrier.

We always include FREE UPS Ground Shipping to the 48 contiguous United States. There is an additional $25 charge for shipments going to Puerto Rico, Guam, Alaska and Hawaii. Shipping to Canada costs $25. For International shipments, we only use UPS Express Saver 5-Day delivery for $100 - $120 since we have noticed that this UPS service is easier to pass through customs.

The Refundable Core Charge is collected in the Shipping Charges, and they are returned to when we receive the core back at our office. A Pre-Paid Return Shipping label is included in the box for your convenience.

All of our shipments are automatically insured for $100. It is the responsibility of the customer to inform us in writing if they wish us to insure the package for the full price of the contents of the box. The customer will have to pay the additional cost of the insurance.

A tracking number will be sent automatically to your email.

**For International shipments we only use UPS Express Saver 5-Day delivery for $100-$120 since we have noticed that UPS is easier to get through customs. We also do not include the sales invoice inside the box to help you avoid the high fees at your country's customs office.

Additional Note for International shipments-Remember that there's an additional $100 Core Charge included in the International shipping cost that will be refunded once the ECU core is returned. International buyers are responsible for their own return shipments.

Our warranty covers the ECU for 5 years from the date that we receive your ECU core at our office.

Our warranty does not cover any damage to the ECU, that results from improper installation, accident, exposure to water or fire, collision, abuse, misuse, natural disaster, insufficient or excessive electrical supply, abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions, or any unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification.

If any security seals are tampered with, the warranty will be cancelled. No exceptions. Contact us before you open the ECU, in the case that you want to install a performance chip. The warranty is non-transferable and will not be awarded without a copy of the Sales Invoice.

The warranty will not be valid without a copy of the Sales Invoice. Your warranty is not transferable if the car is sold to another person or entity.

We are not responsible if a car's warranty with the manufacturer is voided by using replacement parts supplied by us.

Exchanged units can be returned to receive a refund minus a 35% Re-stocking fee within 10 business days of receiving the unit.

Shipping Fees are Non-Refundable.

If there is a warranty problem, no Full Refunds will be issued unless we have exhausted all the possibilities to resolve the problem or warranty matter through a repair, or replacement. It is the responsibility of the owner to consult with us about any problems or warranty issues, before going to a third party for a diagnosis or a resolution.

We will refund 100% of your money if we exhausted all the possibilities to solve your problem.

If we approve a refund, please allow up to 5 business days for us to process the refund.
