RC09 is the Project-Mu brake pad of choice for Club Motorsport. 

Be it for circuit racing, time attack, club sprints, tarmac or gravel rally this is the brake pad that offers the very best in performance, feel and release, whilst remaining a budget option.

This pad punches above it's weight and will push aside many other "competition" pads in performance and durability. 

RC09 "Club Racer" is based on the DNA of Project-Mu's ultra successful H16-03 Motorsport pad which is one of the world's best race pads. Club Racer is the pad to use of your car spends a majority of it's time on track or rally stage.

Suitable for, circuit racing, time attack, sprints, gravel and tarmac rally. 

Available in a range of shapes to suit the most popular applications. Japanese, European, Australian OEM calipers. Evo, STI, HSV or FPV right through to Golf GTI or Porsche GT3. A range of Motorsport shapes are also available to suit AP, Alcon, Brembo, Wilwood etc

RC09 Club Racer Brake Features

Fade Resistance

When brake pads operate at high temperatures, high pressure gases can be created in the pad and can cause a 'gas layer' between the pad and rotor. This can make the driver feel like the brakes have lost performance as the brake pedal feels the same, but the car won't slow down as normal. This phenomenon is known as 'fade'. A slot is manufactured in all Project-Mu pads to offer the gases an escape route. 
? Rotor slots also assist to provide the same solution.

Noise Suppression

Brake pads manufactured without a chamfer on the leading edge of the friction material, are more likely to produce unpleasant noise. This noise known as brake squeal is actually a high frequency vibration created by the friction between pad and rotor. The vibration can manifest in caliper, rotor or suspension vibration. This 'problem' is reduced or eliminated by the chamfer on the pad material. 
? Brake squeal is more likely to occur in some models, and not others. It can also depend on the condition of the car.

Heat Treatment

Project-Mu brake pads are subjected to heat treatment as part of the manufacturing process. This process 'burns out' unwanted materials in advance, reducing the gases that can cause fade. As a result, Project-Mu brake pads only need light 'bedding in' to match the pad to your rotor surface.

Brake Pad Structural Stability

Brake pads are subjected to huge pressure from caliper pistons in unequal proportions across the pad. Brake pads must remain flat to offer optimal performance so Project-Mu use only the highest grade quality steel at the correct thickness to ensure this stability. Project-Mu pads are up to 20% stronger than some competitors.

Triple Nine Automotive (999Automotive) was established in 2003 with the goal of providing customers a one stop place for all their vehicle needs. With more than 2000 performance products in our warehouse,

including suspension upgrades and a skilled in-house fabricator for your custom requirements. Equipped with a 4WD dynamometer from Dyno Dynamics, 

999 Automotive provides aftermarket ECU tuning along with our customers being able to find out how much power their car produces in ShootOut mode. 

Our aim is to make our customers' cars reliable, we want our customers to enjoy the fun of the modifications we perform to their cars. Therefore, the power figure is not the only thing we are concern about.

PRICES All prices listed in our website, advertisement and/or catalogue do not include shipping & handling charges. All prices are mail order prices; extra fees may apply for pick up.

 All prices and descriptions are subject to change without notice.

TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS 
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from the supplier or manufacturer, 

TRIPLE NINE AUTOMOTIVE shall have the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for product listed at the incorrect price. 

TRIPLE NINE AUTOMOTIVE has the right to refuse or cancel any such order whether or not the order has been confirmed and payment has been made. 

If payment has been made and your order will be cancelled, TRIPLE NINE AUTOMOTIVE will immediately issue a credit to your paypal or bank account in the amount paid.  

WARNING

SPECIAL ORDERS 
All special order items must be prepaid before processing your order. Special order items cannot be cancelled or returned.

CANCELLATIONSOrder cancelled with TRIPLE NINE AUTOMOTIVE after 24hrs from placement of order to the time of shipment will be subjected to a cancellation fee of 10% (ten percent).

PAYMENTTRIPLE NINE AUTOMOTIVE accepts Paypal and Bank transfers only. International orders can only make payment via Paypal. Payment through Paypal will incur a 3% surcharge of the total invoiced amount. All goods remain the property of TRIPLE NINE AUTOMOTIVE until paid in full.

SHIPPINGAll orders are shipped by either Australia Post, Courier Please, TNT or Hunter Express. Items in-stock are usually shipped within 48 hours after receipt of order. Any expected shipment dates given to customers are approximate. Shipping fees are calculated after order is being placed.

CLAIMSClaims for defective goods, shortages, delays, or failures in shipment or delivery, or for any other cause, shall be deemed waived and released by Buyer, unless made contact within three (3) days after the arrival of the goods.

RETURNSAll items returned are subject to a 10% (ten percent) restocking fee. Returns are not accepted on ignition systems, computers, electrical units, bulbs, lighting accessories, software, special orders and custom orders. All other returns or exchanges are accepted within 14 days after date of invoice. It is the customer responsibility to contact TRIPLE NINE AUTOMOTIVE within this time period to be eligible for a return.  You may contact our sales team at sales@999automotive.com.au. All goods returned for credit must have a Return for Credit authorization number (RFC number) which can be obtained by Triple Nine Automotive internal sales staff. To ensure full credit less restocking fee, the returned item(s) must be accompanied with the ORIGINAL INVOICE, RFC number and customer name and address. Failure to comply with our Return Policy will incur a 10% (ten percent) handling fee. All return items must be unused, in the same condition as sold to buyer and in its original packaging. Returned parts with missing packaging, instructions, or parts will be subject to a restocking fee. No returns or exchanges will be allowed if the item shows signs of having been installed, scratched, damaged or modified. If TRIPLE NINE AUTOMOTIVE does not accept a returned item as being defective and/or returnable for any reason, the buyer must accept any incurred cost. It is the responsibility of the customer to verify the correct part before ordering and installing a particular part.

REFUNDSRefunds can only be made within (seven) 7 days. No refunds will be given for change of mind. Please choose carefully as shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. All orders will be refunded by the method of payment of the order. Refused shipments sent back to TRIPLE NINE AUTOMOTIVE do not constitute a refund or credit. TRIPLE NINE AUTOMOTIVE reserves the right to charge the customer shipping & handling costs for the refused shipment and a 10% restocking fee.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS All orders outside of Australia must be paid in full by Paypal only. All foreign orders are final. No returns will be accepted; therefore it is the buyers’ responsibility to order the correct part(s). TRIPLE NINE AUTOMOTIVE does not guarantee proper fitment for buyers foreign vehicle as all parts sold by TRIPLE NINE AUTOMOTIVE are made for the Japanese domestic market.

WARRANTYAll products sold by TRIPLE NINE AUTOMOTIVE are only subjected to the manufacturers’ warranty. Manufacturer warranty will not be honored if due to customer’s mishandling, abuse or faulty installation that causes the defect.
