Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass bowl/ashtray, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of orangey red glass encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian Sommerso technique. There is also lots of Silver Leaf cased in the glass.

Measures approx 2 inches tall by 6 inches in diameter at widest point.

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a tiny fleabite to the base rim, not visible when on display.
