Cosmetic condition: Overall excellent condition with some very light surface scratching and pickwear on the body, and a couple very small nicks visible only under very particular lighting, as well as a couple light scratches on the headstock. There is also some minor fretwear at the 15^th fret and above on the treble side, and a light scuff on the bass side of the 12^th fret.

Body: Double bound Indian Rosewood body with Adirondack Spruce top. Gorgeous multi-ring abalone rosette with tortoise pickguard. Ebony bridge with matching abalone bridge pins. 15 1/2" lower bout width, and 4 3/4" depth.

Neck: Mahogany neck features a rounded V profile and a diamond volute. White side dots, pearl bordered blue dot inlays, and Del McCoury signature at 20th fret. Ebony fingerboard is in excellent condition, with only some very minor wear visible from the 15^th-20^th frets on the treble side, and a single scuff on the bass side of the 12^th fret. 1 3/4" nut width, 25 1/4" scale length. Chrome sealed Waverly are in full functioning order. Neck is straight, and truss rod works as it should.

Playability/Tone: Outstanding, rich tones. Well punctuated high ends with ample low end in a dreadnought package with unbelievable projection. The rounded V neck affords the player comfortable maneuvering up and down the fretboard, making chording easy in any position.
