Here is a restored 1949 Schwinn BA-607 Autocycle / B6!  Beautiful bicycle that was restored using original and very rare parts including the First Year for the Schwinn Deluxe taillight, Front expander brake, and spring fork with original lock and Arnold, Schwinn & Co key.  

This bicycle was restored nearly 15 years ago and still looks very nice, there may be a small nick or chip here or there but they are so minor they barely deserve mentioning, the bike LOOKS fresh.

I will say this about this particular restoration, you are bidding on Real and Correct ingredients that went in to this build. As awesome as Ebay is for a source for buying or bidding on antique and collectibles, I have to chime in that the majority of so called 'restored' bicycles offered are buyer beware nightmares.  Certainly from time to time some very good quality stuff emerges on eBay, but when it comes to bicycle restorations and the availability of reproduction parts, the lure to cut corners is just too tempting for I would say a larger percentage of restorers out there. 

Quality builders do exist, but sadly they are the exception not the norm.  I am selling this bicycle for a VERY advanced collector friend in Europe and the bicycle is in my possession. I will attest to the originality of the parts used to restored this bicycle from original S-2 wheels, Restored Expander brake, Restored B1 leather Mesinger saddle, original tires. the brake cable and battery tray and tubes are the only reproduction parts on the bike.  The asking price is based on what the owner paid for the bicycle AND the insane fees that occur at the close of the listing once sold.
