Supporting your nonconformist attitude, The North Face Men's Free Thinker Bib Pant offers pro-level waterproofing and rugged durability for pow-hungry purists earning their turns in the backcountry. This no-nonsense bib pant features Gore-Tex Pro 3-layer membrane for the utmost in technical performance, ensuring you stay dry and comfortable through raging snowstorms and chest-deep powder. 1/4-length side zippers facilitate easy on and off, just in case nature calls and you're halfway up the mountain. Hook-and-loop bib straps and adjustable waist tabs secure this pant when you're skinning uphill and charging down the mountain.
Actively expelling built-up water vapour (i.e., perspiration), the pant's Chimney Venting System is made of mesh upper gaiters that channel hot air from the top of your boots, up and out of the pant's mesh-lined thigh vents (when they're zipped open). The result is a free-flowing exhaust system that's highly effective at keeping you cool during demanding backcountry tours and intense boot packs. And don't worry about snow getting in, the mesh upper gaiters are backed to prevent blower pow from shooting inside.
The Free Thinker Bib Pant features a slew of highly functional pockets for easy storage and retrieval of riding accessories, safety equipment, and snacks. Its Vislon-zippered chest pocket along the upper bib is great for storing sensitive items within quick reach. Phone and radio/transceiver pockets provide ample storage for safety equipment.
