Large fine 17th Century Dutch Old Master battle scene of the Siege and capture of Namur, 1695, oil on canvas. Extensive view of the battlefield near the town as the Commander and staff officers stand in the foreground. Exceptional example of early Ductch School battle painting and an important historical account from the 9 Years War. Good quality and monies signs of over cleaning and some small restorations. Presented in a large antique gilt frame.
