Circular form. Cover with armies battling along mountain cliffs. General on horse raises sword, warrior holds army's banner, Chinese characters.  

Opposing general raises sword from cliff above, banner with different characters.

Border of creatures mating in forest, floral and lone horse.

Sides birds (bats) in clouds. Below, larger scenes of Chinese travelers, figures at campfire

and elder petting foo lion in garden. Each scene and figure unique.

Signed four very long series of characters.

In excellent condition. Lustreous silver patina throughout.

The battling armies and and many figural scenes retain near original hand chased detail. Much of the facial features of the warriors retained.

Interior base rim couple rough spots, still closes perfectly cover to base.
