This is an Oil Pressure Gauge Conversion Kit for Yamaha VMax motorcycles for 1985 - 2007. 

 

1200CC Yamaha VMX12 VMax bikes needed one thing from the factory that was not installed and that was an oil pressure gauge so you can see how your pressure is and if your oil tube o-ring is blowing out on you, which is the main failure on Yamaha VMax cycles.  When the o-ring blows so does your engine unless you get it fixed quickly, and with an oil pressure gauge you can see exactly how much your pumping and if you have good pressure you've got nothing to worry about.

 

We have machined a zinc coated steel fitting with a silicone fiber o-ring and tapped it for our 1.5 inch liquid filled stainless steel bezel oil pressure gauges.  Install will take less then 10 minutes and you will be able to see just how good your engine oil system is doing.
