Vintage 1930s Cardboard Film Star Viewer with Film Strips

Dating from circa 1939 this is an unusual film strip viewer. Made from fragile cardboard it folds out to make a simple viewer whereby strips of film are fed through a slot and viewed through the lens at the front. It was a simple way fans could see photos their favourite British and American stars on film. There is no makes name on the viewer.

With the viewer are five strips of film with 10 film stars on each strips including Spencer Tracy, James Stewart, Edward G Robinson, Jackie Cooper, Will Hay, with Moore Marriott and Graham Moffatt, Sabu, George Formby with Googie Withers, Humphrey Bogart, Joan Crawford, Mickey Rooney, Robert Donat, Mae West and many others.

The viewers and strips are in excellent condition.
