THE DIAL: 100% mint, the gloss black dial with gold arrow-head hour markers and signed "Omega Automatic SeaMaster , Swiss Made" and cross-hair. Dial with silver dauphine hands and gold centre seconds hand. Diameter is 30x mm. The new crystal is also in excellent condition.
THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with typical Omega plates. The watch with a compensate regulator and two arm bimetallic balance, with overcoiled hairspring. The movement fully signed "Omega", and with 20 jewels and an auto- rotor to centre. The movement with a plain winding button. The movement is an Omega calibre 471 and the number is 19,595,xxx dating the watch to 1962. The watch is a fabulous example of high grade Omega engineering. The watch is much brighter and crisp than in these dark photos, which are limited by my camera and lighting equiment. The watch is in very good working order for its age.
THE CASE: 98% mint, the stainless steel case measures 33 mm outside diameter and 39 mm to ends of lugs. The case is in excellent condition, with a snap on rear cover. The watch case with number of 2972,xxx. The case with Omega Watch Co. stamp and the early patent and dust proof seal arrangement which works very well indeed and the rear cover closes very tightly indeed. The rear cover with "SeaMaster" logo and some minor pitting to surface .
THE BRACELET: 100% mint, watch comes with a new leather watch bracelet, and the watch comes with a red leatherette presentation box.
This is a high quality Omega SeaMaster wrist watch, a work of art in its own right in crisp condition and of jewel like quality.
