A very fine 19th century Swiss ladies Boudoir clock with polychrom dial and running for 8 days. The clock has been fully serviced and overhauled by my watch maker and is keeping good time. The Dial: 100% mint, the polychrome enamel dial with  black Arabic  numerals, in stunning condition with no hairlines or chips. Finely made gilt metal Louis XIV style  hands, a work of art to see, beautifully cut and polished. The bullseye glass in very fine condition. Diameter is 31 mm. 

The Movement:100% mint, with richly gilded full plates in wonderful condition. The movemeent with a platform escapement and spring barrel, runs for 8-days and comes with a winding key. There are two winding squares, one for the hands and one to wind the clock, once a week.

The Case: 95% mint, the gilt metal case measures 118 mm height. The  case wtih fine enrgaving and decoration in relief, all in good order. There is minor wear to the case at the high points and to the rear door. The top of the case with a small swing out hand, ideal if you want to mount the clock onto a small bracekt or hook. The clock stands on four small gilded lions feet and ovrall very pretty

This clock has clearly had a sheltered life, hence its very fine condition. This is a very fine period watch in simply stunning condition, which is rare collectable item or a possible investment for the future or of course a fine gift for a birthday, anniversary, wedding etc.

Any dark areas or marks on highly polished surfaces are almost certainly reflections from the camera or lighting equipment. If there are any marks or dents of any note, these will be mentioned in the description. All of our watches have been fully cleaned and serviced by a professional watch-maker unless not stated on the auction and the time-keeping carefully checked. We are happy to give a 3 month warranty on this work, which is thoroughly checked, and all watches are also given a 24 hour check prior to being shipped. We combine watches at no extra cost and with appropriate insurance for all parcels up to a maximun of 3 watches per parcel.
