Metal Lath & Accessories Partition Systems (1962)

Out-of-print, hard-to-find 8 1/2" x 11" paper catalog, 12 pages from the Alabama Metal Industries Corporation, Birmingham Alabama.  Catalog is dated 1962 and was taken from a compilation issued in 1962.

Asbestos ReferenceS:

AMICO promoted the use of asbestos by showing a Fire Ratings chart with 7/8" Portland Cement, mix ratio 1:2, 1:3 with 3 lbs of asbestos fiber per bag of cement and was used as a basis for mixing plaster to obtain a desired thickness and type on metal lath, on both faces of stud.  The asbestos combination shows a 1-hour fire resistance rating.

Book Condition:
The catalog is in GOOD condition!!  The pages have some wear and moisture exposure and may have some lite browning due to age.   It's still a good booklet with plenty of life left in it!!
