| Matching Mirror PAIR Japan Cloisonne Vases Ando Sato Era Blue Foil Ginbari |

Altho only marked "Made in Japan" on the chrome bottom rims, I believe this mirror image pair of vases was made by one of the more talented cloisonné artists of the mid 20th Century. Any info would be appreciated. They are enameled a dark cobalt blue over a bamboo patterned foil, with rose blossoms on the front. The 3rd photo is of one of the vases in sunlight to show the foil pattern. One vase has a few minor, shallow scuffs on the side. Otherwise, both are in superb condition, with no chips, hairlines, crazing, dents, bruises or repairs. See my other auctions for another antique Japanese vase, also listed today. Measuring about 7.5" high, this pair will weigh 4 pounds when securely packed for shipment. You may choose from two different priced mailing options on my invoice. We only mail on Wednesdays.
