  • MEDIUM:  Watercolor on paper.
  • SIZE:  The painting is housed under glass in what appears to be the original sealed maple frame.  There is a framing label on the back from “Claude Gallery Frames”, Eastchester, N.Y. with a telephone number of “Spencer 9-8822”.  Overall framed dimensions are 23” x 29” with sight measurements of 14 ½” x 21 ¼”.
  • SIGNATURE:  Lower right “Alice Rosenblat”.
  • CONDITION:  We have not examined the painting outside of the frame.  However, it appears to be in very good original condition with no foxing, burning, staining, holes, tears or repairs apparent.
  • OTHER:  The artist may be referenced in Davenport’s, Mallett and Who’s as well as at AskArt.com.  According to Falk’s “WHO WAS WHO IN AMERICAN ART” (Who’s), the artist studied with H. B. Snell, G. Bridgman, A. Woefle, E. O’Hara and R. Brackman and exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts as well as other locations.

This is a very pretty painting being offered at a modest price for a work by this artist and of this quality and condition.
