John Charles 25860 Mother of the Bride/Groom Outfit

Worn once so in excellent condition - As you can see from the labels, I paid £750 under a year ago.

The size label is 20, which is more like an 18/20, but I had the dress professionally altered by a seamstress so it is more like a 16 or 18 - please see measurements. When she altered it, she did not cut the material so it could be put back to the original size. The main difference is the lace V at the back, because it was too big on top for me, the V was altered - see photos.

Please note - the jacket has not been altered, because of the style it did not look too big.

The dress is ivory with lace detail on the sides (very flattering) and lace on the top and sleeves. There are removable pads in the bust part. The sleeves are 3/4 length and the dress is lined, has a back zip and a back vent. The navy satin jacket is box style, also with 3/4 sleeves, with little slits on the end of the sleeves. 

The dress material is quite stretchy with 3% elastane, so very comfortable and flattering to wear.

Approximate measurements of the dress are:

bust   40"

length from top of shoulder   42"

hips   44"

sleeve from underarm   9"

depth of v back   10"

There is a little bag with fabric swatches so that you can match accessories.
