This is a RARE 1971 vintage CGC Graded copy of Marvel Feature #1 which features the team's early exploits including the 1st appearance of the Defenders (Hulk, Dr Strange and Sub-Mariner) and Omegatron. Written by Roy Thomas with art by Ross Andru. Cover art by Neal Adams. It's first print and the overall condition is rated Very Fine (7.5). The cover is sharp with off-white pages. It has minimal creases but no tears occurring along the cover edges. Staples are intact and fairly firm.
synopsis:
Visiting his old foe Yandroth on his deathbed, Strange is warned by the techno-wizard that he has created a Doomsday machine called the Omegatron to destroy the Earth five hours after it's activated. In order to save the world, Strange gathers the Sub-Mariner and the Hulk together to find the Omegatron and destroy it before it can start a nuclear chain reaction that will destroy the planet. Finding the device hidden in a lighthouse in Maine, the three heroes try to stop it with their combined skills, however no physical, cosmic or mystic force can destroy the device. The story continues...
