Back for 2016 with no changes at all, the MX88 is for skiers who do not just demand a lot from their skis--they demand everything. This is the flagship model for Kastle, and sets a towering standard for all-mountain performance skis. With its powerful traditional sandwich build comprised of a Silver Fir and Ash wood core, two 0.5mm sheets of Titanal, fiberglass reinforcement, and rubber dampening strips, the MX88 crushes all conditions, from speed-of-sound carving to the gnarliest crud. The 88mm waist width offers do-everything versatility, while the Elliptical Radius (present in all MX series skis) delivers progressive and powerful steering. Oh, and those prominent Hollowtech cutouts in the tips do more than look cool, they shave weight, dampen vibratio, enhance stability...and look cool. Good condition with superficial scratches/scuffs on the topsheet surface, mainly at the tips and tails, and some more significant chipping/nicking along the topsheet edges from being used approximately 20 days.There is a deeper ding in the topsheet that was repaired with apoxy. Bindings will adjust to any boot size without a remount. Bases are in very good condition with light scratching and a few deeper (but still minor) scratches. These skis have been recently tuned and waxed.
