This item is simply missing the barcode
from the back of packaging.
You can buy this item for a fraction of the price that
others are asking for theirs, simply for that reason.
I will NOT respond to people asking
if these are fakes, reproductions, stolen, etc...
The reason the barcodes were taken from the back of
package is as follows:
I purchased several of these from
an older gentleman whom had acquired
them back when they were first released to the market.
He decided to sell them to me, with the stipulation
that the barcodes be removed.
His reasoning (however misguided) was that
he didn't want them to be returned to stores for
full retail price.
I have had these in storage for some years now, and have finally got
around to listing them.
I am involved (however minimally) in a Final Fantasy group
on another website (one of the bigger social media groups),
and have found that yes, some items Square Enix has
produced have been faked by bootleggers, but
this figure is NOT one that has been reproduced.
You can 100% bank on this item being real, authentic,
Square-Enix product, and NOT a bootleg.
These are even shipped in their original shipping case.
You won't find one cheaper, ANYWHERE.
I refuse to sell them any cheaper than this though
because others don't understand the reasoning
behind taking the barcode off the back of box.
I didn't agree with it either, but
in order to obtain them, I had to sign a contract with
said original seller.
If you do ask any of the following questions as
stated above, those having already been answered:
A. you will be ignored
B. you will be blocked from buying anything now
or in the future.
I run a tight, honest business and pride myself
as to my reputation.
I don't want problem buyers bent on causing problems
because they don't want to accept that these have
had their barcodes removed for a reason,
(once again, not my personal reasoning).
VERY RARE limited edition produced by
"Square Enix" (03/25/2010) release date.
This item has NEVER been opened, and is in
GREAT displayable condition.
The only thing wrong with box is that the sku
number (bar code) has been cut out of the back
of box.
This does not affect (in my opinion)
the display quality of such a rare piece.
This piece is AMAZING, and
VERY hard to find!
I've found these selling for $400 + on other
sites!
