Last used in December 2003 by myself on the final transatlantic voyage of the US flagged tank vessel M/V Rover (ex Zapata Rover) before being scrapped. Mirrors look ok. Shades look ok. One mirror has some very slight silver loss around the edges. It Has some index error and could probably use adjustment to suit it's new user. Bowditch has a whole chapter on sextant adjustments. If you are actually serious about using this thing for navigation that shouldn't scare you much. The case does have some cosmetic damage to the finish of the exterior from some kind of incompatible liquid making contact while in storage. It did not penetrate the case or affect the instrument.

This is the real deal... Not a Chinese replica. When your gps breaks mid pacific this thing, a good watch and the almanac will get you home. Comes with what is included in the pictures. Sold as-is, no returns. Shipping weight 13lbs
