Ref No : FWB28 Neat resin casting of the uncommon British Lanchester 6x4 Armoured Car. The Lanchester 6x4 was produced in very limited numbers in the late 1920s and early 1930s. It was mainly supplied to Territorial Army units. Its armoured body was similar in design to the Rolls Royce armoured car with a front mounted engine and rear area devoted to storage behind the fighting compartment. It was equipped with a 2 man turret mounting a 12.7mm machine gun. An additional Vickers 7.7mm (0.303inch) machine gun was carried in the front. Lanchesters served in the Far East and in Egypt and the Middle East. Resin cast item. Whether for wargaming or just for display this brand new kit is a beauty. Not to be missed.
