Description: It is a hand carved wood statue in excellent condition from Olinda, Brazil in the state of Pernambuco, well known for its long tradition of Saint makers specializing in hand carved saints and crucifixes. The Archangel Raphael is often associated with healing, symbolic of the fish, which he used the gall to heal Tobit in the Old Testament, and protector of children.
 

Size: The dimension are approximately 12 inches high, 5" wide and 3" deep (30x12x8cm).
