With only 94,252 actuations out of a shutter rating of 300k actuations, this D3 body is still the workhorse that it was brand new, straight out of the box. There is only superficial cosmetic wear due to careful use by only one photographer. I've used this for portraits, landscape and wedding photography with stunning and sometimes even award-winning results. I am recently retired, so I'm looking for a good home for a camera body that has served me well.
The camera is fully functional and in excellent physical condition, both inside and out. It was built in Japan for Nikon USA, as you can see by the Nikon USA label inside the battery compartment. So, rest assured that this is a professional body that is eligible for service by Nikon if the need should ever arise. The firmware has also been updated on occasion with the included Nikon USB cable.
