Artist Biography

Eli Grebel, born in Tel Aviv in 1944, paints Israeli landscapes. He is most influenced by the impressionist artists who dedicated their work to capturing nature and country landscapes in their paintings. In particular Claude Monet? whose work expressed a dynamic view of objects changed by different light and weather conditions.

In his paintings Eli express the love and respect he holds for nature in Israel. He paints fields, wilderness, trees and flowers with much intensity and sensitivity, as well as the enchanting landscape of Jerusalem.

Grebel paints large oil paintings on canvas using homogeneous and dynamic composition. His landscapes are created with a thick texture of oil paint stains in pure strong colors and thick layers created by drawing freely using paintbrush and spatula, which emphasizes the versatility of colors.

Eli's Jerusalem oil paintings are done with a thick texture of oil paint in warm colors and thick layers combined with gentle and accurate drawing using a paintbrush.

Grebel's works of art are displayed in galleries and private collections in Israel and around the world.

COMBINING SHIPPING
  • We are glad to combine similar items in one package when possible. Not all items can be combined.

RETURN POLICY
Art Catalog Online is confident that you will be very satisfied with your purchase. However, should you wish to return your purchase, this item is eligible for a refund, credit or exchange.
