For your consideration, I am offering a King George V World War I medal awarded for War Service from 1914 to 1918.
This British War Medal was awarded to those who served from August 5, 1914, the day following the British declaration of war against the German Empire, to the armistice of November 11, 1918. The obverse depicts King George V with the legend: "GEORGIVS V BRITT OMN:REX ET IND IMP". The reverse identifies the dates of eligible service.
This medal measures 11/16 of an inch ( 18 mm ) in diameter.
The medal is in excellent condition.
