This early 1900’s 16 ¾” tall x 10 ¾” wide x 7” deep bracket style clock boasts an exceptionally architectonic form with carved Corinthian pilasters and stepped dome top all of solid oak. The 4 ½” square dial with silvered finish and Arabic numerals has raised gilt brass ornament in the spandrels and the unmarked movement looks German to be. One of the springs is bad (no resistance when wound) and there is no pendulum. 3 finials are missing from the top and there are small chips and shrinkage cracks in the wood which retains DIRTY, dry original finish.
