This is the new DS3 tiny digital video camera. It records both video and audio on to a Micro SD card. A 2gb card will hold around 5 hours of video at full quality.

The file format used is a common 3gp format used by many mobile phones. If you have a mobile phone with a MicroSD card slot then you will be able to play the video back from this device on your phone.

Although the video resolution is 320 x 240, the video quality is pretty good for the size of the unit, it's a bit of a bargain!

The DS3 makes an excellent replacement for a dictaphone for taking notes with the added advantage of also storing video.

It has a built-in li-ion battery which will record for around 2 hours on a single charge.

Charging is done by plugging the camera in to your computer via the supplied USB cable. A full charge should only take a couple of hours from flat.
